Scheduling Overview

Session length will be 1 hour long unless otherwise arranged. For In-person sessions, the sessions will typically take place in families’ homes, but a parent/guardian may request for tutoring sessions to take place at a public venue, such as a local library or coffee shop. All online and group sessions are held via zoom. You will be mailed a zoom link prior to your online session.

Scheduling is to be done through our booking software or by direct message. Please use the "Book Now" button in our menu or fill out the form on our website to reach us. Available spots are first come first serve and no guarantee is made for availability if scheduling is not completed promptly.

Mandatory Adult Chaperone/No Closed Doors

A parent or guardian (21 years of age or older) must be present during the entire lesson for in-home tutoring sessions. This is for the tutors' comfort and protection as well as the students'. All communication with students (under the age of 18) will be directed toward the parent or guardian.

**NEW ** Cancellation/Rescheduling

In the event a session needs to be canceled or re-scheduled we ask it to be communicated within 24 hours of the scheduled meeting or else you will be required to pay in full for the session missed before being able to book another session. We will do our best to accommodate any changes to the schedule as needed for our students. If a tutor will be away for a scheduled session the tutor will let the student know at least 2 weeks in advance so other arrangements can be made as necessary.

Rates/Payment

Payment is to be received by cash, venmo, or zelle by the end of each session at the latest. A student may not schedule a future session unless all prior sessions are paid for. Sessions can be paid for in advance and will always be credited toward the future sessions scheduled. If a student has credit toward future sessions but needs to discontinue their sessions, the credit will be refunded in full.

Scope of Services/Guarantees

While we are committed to providing the highest quality tutoring services and supporting our students to reach their full potential, we cannot guarantee specific grades or test scores. Every student is unique and learns at their own pace, and many factors beyond our control can influence academic performance.

We believe that authentic learning and growth are the most meaningful outcomes of tutoring. Our tutors are dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment, building student confidence, and developing strong academic foundations. We encourage students to embrace challenges, persist through setbacks, and celebrate their individual progress.
